J. Dilla A.K.A. Jay Dee whose real name is James Yancey. He is one of the most influential producers in Hip-Hop. He has produced for Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest, Talib Kweli, De La Soul, Mos Def, Slum Village, Common, and many others. He also has an album with Madlib, (under the alias of Jaylib) numerous solo, and instrumental albums. J. Dilla passed away February 10, 2006 from Lupus.
